So, keep reading to learn about the Louisiana Marathon!

A Race for Everyone

The all-inclusive Louisiana Marathon makes every person in attendance feel welcome, and it also offers a wide variety of race choices so you can customize your exercise experience.

For the go-getters who crave the unhindered freedom running provides, a full marathon is available on a fast and flat course that includes the chance to qualify for the Boston Marathon.

If you want to get involved at a shorter distance, you can select between options like a half marathon, a quarter marathon, or a 5K. There's even a kid's marathon which consists of 1.2 miles!

Post-Race Party & Cuisine

The marathon itself, which is categorized by a unique and accommodating energy, is really just the beginning for racers and spectators alike. Once completed, the afterparty begins!

This celebration starts with a stream of six different bands performing live in front of a jubilant group of spectators. If you're craving something tasty after expending all that energy, over forty local chefs have food prepared and ready to serve. There's also a refreshing assortment of local beer and plenty of dancing, too!

An Entire Weekend of Activities

The marathon may be the centerpiece, but the entire weekend of January 20th will be a consistent stream of exciting events and performances.

For example, Friday has a unique culinary celebration called "Meanwhile Back at Café Du Monde" where five locals discuss their distinct takes on popular foods.

Saturday, the Louisiana Food Fest kicks off, accompanied by a handful of live performers like the Pine Leaf Boys and The Michael Foster Project. As for Sunday, you can unwind at the Lulu Lemon Yoga Stretch!
